OUR POLICY
Reservation:
Please use the reservation form in this web-site, we also accept the flight reservation by phone, by fax or e-mail. It is very important that you make your reservation using the name in your passport. Passengers may not be allowed to board a flight if the name(s) on the ticket and the name(s) in the passport (s) are not the same.
Be sure that you have obtained all the necessary visas and that you have fulfilled all other conditions for travel to your destination and through all countries you will transit. Also be sure to get your re-entry permit for Japan before you depart!

Payment:
A deposit of \20,000-(per person) must be paid within 3 days of making your reservation. This deposit will be deducted from your final bill. We ask for a deposit even though the status of your reservation is wait-listed or on request. In case we cannot confirm your seat, your deposit will be refunded in full. The balance must be paid no later than 2 weeks before departure. If you make your reservation within 1 month of your intended departure or the reservation is made with advance purchase fare, we may ask that you pay your entire bill at one time.
There are 3 ways to pay:
A) You may make your payment directly to our bank account by telegraphic transfer from any bank in Japan.
B) You can make the payment with your credit card(VISA or MasterCard). At the time of booking, please mention that you pay by credit card, and then we will send you the credit card payment form with the invoice.
C) You can pay in cash at the ISLA JAPAN TRAVEL office. Please note, however, that it is not possible to get your tickets at the time you pay.

Travel Insurance:
We strongly recommend that you purchase travel insurance. We are a registered agent for ACE Insurance. Unfortunately we are not able to sell travel insurance to travelers requesting one-way tickets out of Japan or traveling for more than 1 month.

Other Travel Arrangements:
We can also make other travel arrangements for you, such as connecting flights, hotel bookings, rental cars, railway passes, etc. Please let us know if we can assist you in any way.

How to Receive Your Ticket(s):
There are 3 ways to receive your ticket(s).
A) You may pick up your ticket(s) at ISLA JAPAN TRAVEL office. Normally your ticket(s) are available 3 to 5 days before departure.
B) You may pick up your ticket(s) at the ISLA JAPAN TRAVEL counter at the airport 2 hours before your scheduled departure time. Please note that there is a handling charge of \1,000- per group. In case of late night flights, the ticket(s) must be collected earlier than 2 hours before departure. Please ask us the details.
C) You may have your ticket(s) delivered to your home or office by takuhaibin for a fee of \1,050- per group. We do not recommend this procedure since there is always the possibility that your ticket(s) will arrive late.

Cancellation and Change of Reservations:
It is possible to cancel or change the reservations at any time however the following fees will be applied.
The fees for cancellation or change may vary according to the ticket type such as an advance purchase ticket and etc. If the fees are different from those posted below, we will inform you the condition when you book the flight.

A) High Season: the departures between April 21-May 10, July 1-September 30, December 11-January 10
B) If the fee is more than the airfares, the amount of airfares will be the maximum.
C) These fees do not apply when a reservation has not been confirmed.
D) Please note that the fees will be higher for tickets issued earlier than normal at your request.
E) The departure date can be changed(postponed) within 3 months from original departure only. In case of the postponement of more than 3 months, a cancellation fee applies.
I) Different fees apply to package tours, hotel reservations, railway passes, etc.
G) Any service fees charged by the bank will be deducted from your refund.

ISLA JAPAN TRAVEL is NOT Responsible for the Following:

A- Passengers (and accompanying children) not being allowed into or out of any country due to the passengerfs negligence in terms of securing proper visas, having a valid passport or other reasons for which the passenger is responsible. This is especially true for passengers with one-way tickets.
B- When a stopover exceeds 72 hours and the reservation is cancelled due to the passengerfs negligence to reconfirm the next part of their journey.
C-When flights are delayed or cancelled due to natural calamities or war, terrorism, strikes, hijacking or technical trouble.
D- When passengers cannot board a particular flight due to overbooking on the part of the airlines.
E- When your ticket is lost, stolen or confiscated.
F- When passenger is late for check-in.
G- When the passenger is refused at the gate due to different names on the ticket and in the passport.
H- When the passenger has an open ticket and cannot get a confirmed seat on a return flight.
I- Used discounted tickets are NOT refundable nor are any partial refunds allowed.
I- In any dispute between ISLA JAPAN TRAVEL and a customer who cannot resolve their differences, the dispute will be referred to the Japan Association of Travel Agent (JATA).
